We love Smokey Joe’s and we love a good cause so when we where asked to play for the charity Ride For Steve, (literal) along side The Strays we knew we would have a great night for a good cause. Throwing caution to the wind we played possibly our most crazy set ever. Thanks to the audience for they participation, and for impromptu cameos from Louisa Gaylard of the Hawthornes and Estelle from The Strays. We raised £200, and had a blast! What better way to spend your Friday night!
SoundShack Studio’s open their doors to the Desperados yesterday as we started to record our eponymously titles EP. An incredibly productive time was had and we got the tracks recorded for all 4 tracks. Just some vocals to do and mixing and we will have something really special. We had a load of fun in a really relaxed and creative atmosphere, thanks to Greg who battled thought a cough to helm the project. Highly recommended studio for all your recording needs !
Monday see us head to SoundShack Studios to record our first EP. We are happy to be in the capable hands of Mr Greg Wilson-Copp, also trumpet player in The Hawthornes. Hoping we can finally get to caputure our sound for posterity and for you to own and listen to in you home, Car or where ever you happen to be in this mad mad mad world.
